Bloom Build features 3 whimsical flower-like organic forms that soar and glow over nearby visitors. The slender steel ‘stalks’ sprout up from a bench like base and take a bulbous form at the tip, similar to a flower bud. 

 

Bloom Build allows visitors the opportunity to build up around the stem using green life-size leaf pieces that have been cut to fit together. Although unseen, the force of gravity is constantly influencing how these structures stand up. This activity intuitively teaches structural engineering in a fun, accessible way. Rolling benches offer seating and storage for the excess leaf parts.
