Hot Wax Volcano

Hot Wax Volcano allows visitors to pump hot wax up through a steel plate to simulate the formation of shield volcanos through the changing flow rates of hot lava. Visitors have control over the wax speed, pressure, and flow thereby duplicating the features of natural phenomenon such as lava tubes and volcano formation.
Turning a hand crank clockwise pushes molten wax out of a hole in a steel plate. Wax then flows over the surface to create an additive volcano-like structure. Using various combinations of pumping, waiting and sucking, the qualities of real flowing lava are easily achieved.
