2024 Year in Review

At Creative Machines, 2024 was a year of bold exploration and pushing the boundaries of art and technology. As we welcome 2025, we’re thrilled to continue building on this momentum with exciting new projects underway! Stay tuned for updates on all the amazing projects coming this year!

2024 Highlights

Uplifting Together

Uplifting Together is a sculpture nestled in the meditation garden at the John Muir Health Hospital in Walnut Creek, CA. The branches, though slightly awkward in their form, ascend upwards with determination, symbolizing the inherent beauty in imperfections. The sculpture adds light and color to the garden day and night.

Chromatic Fusion

Our team successfully installed Chromatic Fusion at a corporate R&D facility in Ohio. The stainless steel sphere is covered with the visual language of paint, pigments and polymers and is interactive, projecting detailed imagery all around it.

Stars and Stripes

We are one step closer to the opening of Mattamy Homes’ Stars and Stripes Park in Port St. Lucie, FL featuring our series of 14 sculptures of stars, stripes, planets, and a sundial. This 26.5-acre patriotic park will open to the public later this year.

Second Sky

Our non-profit adventure playground and community center opened its doors for the first community playdate for the whole family! We’re beyond grateful to everyone who showed up, supported, and helped us kick off this event with such positive energy. Learn more about Second Sky and how your support can make an impact!

So Much Coming in 2025!

Points in Time

Points in Time is a series of shadowbox sculptures ready to be installed at the Marana Community Center in Marana, Arizona this year. The sculptures feature artwork that portrays the rich history of the city.

Interactive Train Climber

The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale, AZ will feature a larger-than-life interactive steam locomotive and tender. This play-oriented exhibit will entertain visitors of all ages when installed this year, as it already does in our studio!

Dodger

The 15-foot-tall coyote sculpture that will be installed in Tucson finally has a name! Coyotes fascinate us because they combine so many attributes: playful, vaguely threatening, light on their feet, clever. We can’t wait to install Dodger along Tucson’s Grant Road later this year.

Burning Still

A series of four light-projecting suspended sculptures will soon be installed in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma’s historic Greenwood District. The sculptures acknowledge and honor the history of Black Wall Street.

Many Names, Many Hats

We are in the middle of installing this sculpture series that honors all of the families that lived in this historic neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona. When fully installed, the sculptures will fill the new Central/Lincoln light rail station.

Sun Garden

This large-scale public art piece is coming to the underpass between Broadway Rd. and Apache Blvd. in Tempe, Arizona. Fifteen sculptures made of steel and a dichroic material plus lighting will add color night and day.

Nepantla

Our upcoming installation in Phoenix’s 55th Avenue Promenade will feature three monumental gateway arches designed with rich imagery that not only provides shade and a striking photo opportunity but also symbolizes the human experience of living between two worlds—a theme deeply resonant with the Maryvale community. Our community events were key in helping us design this sculpture series.
