The Breeze Is So Busy is the title of the brand new atrium artwork we recently installed in Phoenix, Arizona. Composed of two sculptures suspended in the atriums of Camelback Commons, the kinetic sculptures pivot as air moves through the space. The intent is to bring the feeling of an organic hanging garden into a built environment. The title of the artwork comes from “Oh What a Beautiful Morning” – the opening song of the musical Oklahoma (the film version of Oklahoma was actually shot on location throughout southern Arizona). Thanks to the team from Milling Inc. for their help during installation.
