Each year the Santa Barbara Beautiful organization acknowledges outstanding community beautification projects throughout the city each year through its Awards Programs; this year, MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation has been chosen as the winner of the 2017 President’s Award. Creative Machines is very proud to have fabricated and installed all of the interactive exhibits for the award-winning children's museum.
MOXI emphasizes STEAM learning; STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Santa Barbara Beautiful chooses from small do-it-yourself projects, theatres, large projects, placing art in public places, and everything in between. Overall, these programs single out exemplary properties and the individuals responsible for those properties that expand the beauty of Santa Barbara.
